My top three "Together" experiences that I can think of off the top of my head that you should hear about ...There are plenty more but let's start with these:
1. Me leaving Fiona locked out of our room in the middle of the night
2. Us wearing bathing suits to go swimming in the Yangtse River
3.Laughing our heads off the whole bus ride from Yangshou

I came to China with a nice hot fever, and of course the darn thing took a few days to ware off. So on our second night in China (we were in Macau), Fiona decided to take the fairy back to Hong Kong in the evening to meet up with a friend who she hadn’t seen in years, of course being the kind lady she is, she invited me...but seeing as I was still drowsy and sick I decided not to go, plus it’s a friend she hadn’t seen in YEARS!! this was their time. So I joined the group for dinner and a trip downtown to see what all the fuss is about at the Casinos. I got back, took a Tylenol and passed out in a nice deep sleep till morning. Of course I had told Fiona to knock when she came back and I’d open the door for her.
Skip to morning, I wake up and she’s there!!! How!? Did I sleep walk and open the door?! What was I missing here. She laughed and told me that she had knocked several times for several minutes, and eventually had to go downstairs and ask the concierge to come and unlock the room for her. All I could think is “aaaah! I’m the worst roommate ever!!!” ...She did have a good time in Hong Kong though, and I recovered from my fever quite soon after that night.I came to China with a nice hot fever, and of course the darn thing took a few days to ware off. Ah yes the Yangtze river, the beautiful crystal blue river of tropical paradise-ness! Uh yeah not exactly...but somehow we managed to convince ourselves that you can indeed swim in the Yangtze and that when we do our mini gorges tour (where we got of the big ship and onto little rafts) we’d have the chance to go for a swim. Sure the water’s brown, and filled with every sort of bacteria imaginable...but we’ve got waterproof cameras! We’ve got to go swimming!!!!! I think we got the idea that this was possible, when we overheard a conversation someone was having about the topic...except of course we obviously didn’t hear it correctly. Nevertheless, we put on our bathing suits under our outfit, brought a change of clothes and even our travel towels. We were excited!!! So we got off the boat and onto the smaller one, and as we walked on we asked our tour guide when we’d have the chance to go swimming. He just looked at us and laughed...I think he thought we were joking, we didn’t push the topic further. Needless to say, the closest we got swimming that day was in the shower.

This one doesn’t really need much explaining...and I can’t even remember all the things we were laughing about but basically we spent a good 4 hour bus ride laughing our heads of and trying to keep it quite and the same time. We were planning our “Together” video which turned out to be “If Ambition Could Kill” and thought of so many silly things we could do in it. We didn’t even get around to doing them all. One of my favorite never filmed cheesy scenes was us skipping hand-in-hand in slow motion through rice paddies. I don’t even know how we were planning on doing that...seeing as rice paddies are basically water , but we figured we’d do that somewhere beside them. Unfortunately we never got to get close to a farm since that bike tour in Yangshou was cancelled...but we really did get a kick out of dreaming the scene up. Especially because we thought about how the boys in the competition probably wouldn’t do something like this, and then we’d cry from laughter imagining Jason and Mike, or Sam and Tim doing that. haha

I love the lasting impression of Mike+Jason, Sam+Tim skipping through the fields together....let the giggles begin-again!!
